A Refined Evening of Scotch: Private Whisky Tasting at BULGARI

We were once again invited to an exclusive whisky tasting hosted by BULGARI, marking our second time enjoying this luxurious experience in their elegant setting. The evening was a celebration of craftsmanship, character, and the timeless allure of Scotch whisky.

The tasting featured four distinctive expressions, each offering a unique glimpse into the rich heritage of Scotland’s distilleries:

Ben Nevis 10 Year Old (Old Bottling)

A rare gem with bold character and a nostalgic profile. Its depth and complexity reminded us why older bottlings are so treasured by collectors and connoisseurs alike.

Royal Brackla 12 Year Old (Sherry Cask)

Known as “The King’s Own Whisky,” this regal dram delivered a rich, sherried sweetness balanced with subtle spice — a true embodiment of Highland elegance.

Glenallachie 12 Year Old

A modern classic, offering layers of honey, dark fruits, and oak. Its smooth texture and well-rounded flavor made it a standout for those who appreciate balance and finesse.

Caol Ila Distillers Edition 2022

A smoky masterpiece from Islay, this edition brought peaty intensity softened by sweet undertones, showcasing the distillery’s signature maritime charm.
